on march 30th, the china coal industry association organized an evaluation in beijing for two projects led by the national institute of clean and low-carbon energy under chn energy. the projects, "research on the mechanism of water-rock interaction in coal mine goaf and mine water purification technology" and "research and application of key experimental platform for safety evaluation of coal mines’ underground reservoirs," were appraised.
the "research on the mechanism of water-rock interaction in coal mine goaf and mine water purification technology" project focused on the difficulties of underground mine water purification technology. it developed a large-scale experimental platform for simulating the purification of mine water in coal mine underground reservoirs, revealing the purification regularities and mechanisms of the main pollutants in mine water in the goaf rock mass and established a combined underground treatment process system for mine water. the project's achievements have been applied in the mine water treatment and utilization demonstration project of shendong coal, achieving significant economic and social benefits. the appraisal committee unanimously agreed to pass the appraisal, considering the project's research results to have reached an "international leading level."
the "research and engineering application of key experimental platform for safety evaluation of coal mine underground reservoirs" project developed four experimental platforms with independent intellectual property rights, including the physical similar simulation experimental platform for multi-coal-seam mining coal mine underground reservoirs and the "anti-seismic anti-impact" test platform for the dam structure of coal mine underground reservoirs. through the experimental platforms, a key technical system for the safety evaluation of coal mine underground reservoir projects was formed. the project's results have been applied in the safety evaluation of several coal mine underground reservoirs in shendong coal, with good effects and significant economic and social benefits. the appraisal committee unanimously agreed to pass the appraisal, considering the project's research achievements to have reached an "international advanced level."
