the project is located in luancheng town, hengzhou city, guangxi, with a total installed capacity of 30.42 megawatts and covering an area of about 500 acres. it is the first domestic technological experimental project for the integrated development of photovoltaic power generation and main grain (rice) production, adopting an innovative model for ensuring grain supply through energy integration. the project uses the approach of "photovoltaic power generation led supplementary lighting for rice cultivation" to transform dry land into suitable conditions for rice cultivation, conducting experimental planting and pioneering a new mode of sustainable land utilization. with the first quarter rice harvest last november, the project has successfully harvested three seasons of rice, providing valuable insights for the new agricultural light complementation model. after the full capacity connection to the grid, the project is expected to generate 31.1059 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, saving 10,000 tons of standard coal and reducing approximately 26,600 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. it demonstrates excellent economic, environmental, and social benefits.
