the houziyan hydropower station is located in kangding city, ganzi zang autonomous prefecture, sichuan province. it is equipped with four sets of 425,000-kilowatt mixed-flow hydroelectric generating units, with a total installed capacity of 1.7 million kilowatts.
since its operation in 2017, the houziyan hydropower station has continuously increased control efforts in key production processes, key areas, and high-risk operations for new power plants. this has strengthened safety awareness, achieving over 2,500 days of continuous safety production breakthroughs. in addition, it has strengthened operation and maintenance management, regularly conducting hazard investigations and formulating detailed corrective measures for identified safety hazards, ensuring that the units are ready, stable, and fully operational. the station adheres to ecological safety, actively leveraging the role of the dado river basin's midstream large-scale reservoir hub in renewable energy production to support environmental protection and meet the needs of flood prevention, drought resistance, and people's livelihoods in ethnic minority areas.
